The effect is always more convincing when the speed of the movie is high. I suggest that you try and put anything from five to eight frames between the first and second keyframe, but that may vary, depending on what youΓÇÖre doing. You can adjust the frame rate by going to Modify > Movie. Bump up the frame rate from twelve to somewhere between twenty-one and twenty-five (video frame rate is usually thirty), but donΓÇÖt go further than that because most computers are still not capable of catching up with the Flash frame rate. Remember that movie clips can be memory hogs in Flash. The frame rate slows down when multiple movie clips are playing on the stage, so the bumped-up frame rate may not work well if there are many other animation sequences going on at the same time.
